At this year’s UK Games Expo, NRD SQD and Myrth are joining forces to create something a little unusual: the Temple of Play.
From Friday 29 May to Sunday 31 May 2026, visitors to the NEC Birmingham will be able to step through a small doorway into a much larger world: a fantasy pop-up filled with tabletop games, mythic storytelling, nerd clothing, playful rituals, artefacts and fantastical merch.
This is not just a stand.
It is part fantasy market stall, part mythic installation, part celebration of imagination. All built for people who still believe games, stories and creativity can make life feel magical.
